ERAS®
Implementation
Program

The EIP is an implementation and training program designed to assist perioperative care teams to implement, reach and maintain a high compliance level across the different ERAS® Protocols.

The program emphasizes building well-functioning teams from various units involved in surgical care, introducing highly specific changes to current routines to conform to best practice, and providing the tools to monitor and analyze the effects of those changes, through ERAS® Interactive Audit System (EIAS). The EIP is based on teamwork – nurses, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other experts involved in the perioperative process train and work together in teams.

Healthcare today is handling millions of patients, saving lives, and improving quality of life. That is thanks to thousands of talented, experienced, and caring professionals in healthcare. The ERAS® Implementation Program (EIP) is the perfect complement to the ERAS® Interactive Audit System, adding substantial value to setting up your ERAS® best practice, whether for the first time or when expanding your implementation. By providing training to your healthcare professionals through the EIP, we can help your organization to stop silo thinking and individual processes and instead work in multidisciplinary and multi-professional teams to compare and improve procedures. Encare’s EIP users are highly satisfied and recommend the program to other organizations, see below.

ERAS® Protocols

The ERAS® Interactive Audit System (EIAS) is available for a number of specialties, i.e. ERAS® Protocols based on the published ERAS® Guidelines. ERAS® Protocols are periodically updated and improved by the ERAS® Society Guideline groups. This ensures that your best practice surgical guidelines are always at hand, resulting in a better patient experience of care. In addition to this, there are several other surgical areas where ERAS® Society Guidelines are being developed and scheduled for release as ERAS® protocols within the ERAS® Interactive Audit System platform.
